A funny thing happened in the shop the other day…

…a chap came in and was looking at a pair of earrings for his wife and wanted to know what they might look like on; so in all innocence asked if I had my ears pierced (I’m assuming that somewhere out there, there is a female jeweller who doesn’t?).  Would be that on this particular day, I had my hair down…and instead of replying, I just lifted up my thatched tresses with a wry smile and asked him to take his pick…..of the mass of metal studs, chains, rings and balls that decorate, very musically, my ears.

Perhaps you had to be there – and in case you haven’t – here is a selection of earrings I have created since my last earrings post.

(It was quite a vicarious thing to create the clip on earrings for my Aunty-out-law recently, I can tell you)!

Enjoy

The twigs is a really nice twist on the hoop concept. That and the raindrops totally work for me (from a jeweller who doesn’t have her ears pierced)
