A new Anvil joins Hammer and Hand !

I found this small anvil at the ‘Brunswick old and gold’ sale … It is an ‘Old English’ pattern, forged in Birmingham around 1830 to 1860 I think .. The markings are indestinct .. The maker might be an N POWELL ? Bit hard to read .. below that I can make out ‘WARRENTED’ and [...]

“New Rings Discovered Around Saturn”

Riveted pieces by Helen Luna

Finally getting some images up of my work from our recent ‘Riveted’ exhibition. I made a couple of pendants using heat treated titanium and silver and a series of cuffs using acrylic and silver. Using rivets allows the use of some great alternative materials which cannot be joined by soldering.
